What We Do
Serene Horse Ranch is a family owned and operated horseback riding business for over 25 years. Ed Diaz, Owner of Serene Horse Ranch, has been training horses and mules for over 40 years. Ed is a 5th generation horse trainer, whose family roots date back to the 1800's in Spain, and later Cuba.
The Diaz family moved to the United States in the 70's, and has continuously been training horses for over 150 years. Serene Horse Ranch is managed and operated by Ed & Elena Diaz, and their children Noah and Mary. Our family invites you to come take a ride into God's country with us.

Our commitment lies in providing a fun, safe and compassionate environment where horses and individuals can forge meaningful connections, fostering personal growth, equine welfare, and a deep appreciation for nature. Through exceptional care, immersive education, lessons and trail rides we aspire to cultivate a community that embodies respect, empathy, and the serene beauty that can only be found in the presence of these majestic animals.
“Ed is the best! He is friendly, attentive, patient, and paired us with horses best for our needs. We did the 2 hour trail which was beautiful and Ed taught us a lot about the land we passed through. I am so grateful Ed took pics and videos of our trip so that the 3 of us could focus on our horses and really enjoy the scenery. I will definitely come back here when we come back next.
